Euclase is found in granite pegmatites.

Introduction: Euclase is found in granite pegmatites. It is named from the Greek eu meaning 'well' and klas meaning 'break', a reference to the minerals well-developed cleavage.

Distribution: Occurs in the Klein Spitzkoppe pegmatites.

Composition: Silicate

Crystal system: Monoclinic

Lustre: Vitreous

Streak: White

Hardness: 7.5
