Introduction: Elbaite is common in granites and it was first discovered on the Island of Elba, Italy. Colours vary from red, pink, white, yellow, blue or even colourless.
Distribution: Karibib-Usakos region, Sandamap-Erongo areas and near to Brandberg and Uis.
