Introduction: The Spotted Wolf snake (Lycophidion multimaculatum) is a small snake that is both nocturnal and terrestrial. They prefer a habitat of moist savannah.
Distribution: Isolated populations in and around Rundu and Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi Strip.
Diet: Skinks and lacertids asleep in their burrows.
Colouring: A white belly and a red-brown to grey back with blotches and crossbands.
Breeding: Females lay around 3 or 4 eggs.
Size: Max SVL male 286mm, female 475mm.
