Meyers blind legless skink

Introduction: Meyer's Blind Legless skinks (Typhlosaurus meyeri) is a small skink that can be found in a sparsely vegetated coastal dune habitat.

Distribution: Spencer Bay north of Luderitz extending south to the Orange River.

Diet: Termites.

Colouring: Broad yellow vertebral body band with a dark stripe on each side. The tail has a black tip.

Breeding: Females may produce 1 or 2 babies a year.

Size: Max SVL 188mm.
