Jordan's Girdled lizard prefers lower mountain slopes and rock formations.

Introduction: Jordan's girdled lizard (Cordylus jordani) is similar in many ways to the Karoo girdled lizard. It also prefers lower mountain slopes and rock formations that can be associated with small rocky outcrops.

Distribution: Central Namibia north of Aus spreading northwards along the central highlands.

Diet: Passing beetles and grasshoppers.

Colouring: The body is a uniform olive-brown colour.

Breeding: 2 young are born in February to March.

Size: SVL 110mm to 120mm. Max SVL 127mm.
