Introduction: The Caprivi Rough-Scaled lizard (Ichnotropis grandiceps) is a medium-sized lizard, similar to the Cape Rough-scaled Lizard but it has a larger head. It can be found with other rough-scaled lizards and is a rare species. Therefore little is known of the reproduction patterns of this species.

Distribution: Zambezi Region (formerly the Caprivi Strip) and adjacent north-eastern Namibia.

Diet: Insects.

Colouring: Pale grey-brown back and white belly.

Size: SVL 60 to 65mm. Max SVL 70mm.
