Introduction: The long-headed tropical house gecko (Hemidactylus longicephalus) is a medium-sized gecko with a distinctive flattened head and body with large eyes. They are a large number of paired scansors on the flared toe-tips, with retractile claws. They live in in rocks and shelter under dead palm leaves lying on sandy soil.

Colouring: The back is grey with dark and lighter markings and the tail is barred. The belly is white.
Breeding: Females lay 2 hard-shelled eggs.
Size: SVL 55 to 60mm. Max SVL 64mm.
