FitzSimon's thick-toed geckos are large, stout and found on houses.

Introduction: FitzSimon's thick-toed gecko (Pachydactylus fitzsimonsi) is often confused with Bibron's gecko. It is also large and stout and are found on houses.

Distribution: The extreme north-western regions of Kaokoland.

Diet: Ants, termites, beetles and grasshoppers.

Colouring: An olive-yellow back with 4 or 4 wavy crossbands. The belly is white.

Breeding: 2 large eggs are laid in a small hole dug in the sand.

Size: SVL 65mm. Max SVL 90mm.
