Brandberg thicktoed gecko

Introduction: The Brandberg thick-toed gecko (Pachydactylus gaiasensis) is endemic to Namibia, and emerge at night from underneath sandstone boulders. They are medium-sized with a flattened appearance.

Distribution: The immediate vicinity around Brandberg.

Diet: Ants.

Colouring: Light grey above with a white-greyish belly.

Breeding: Little is known of their breeding habits.

Size: SVL 50 to 60mm. Max SVL 68mm.
