Small yellow waterlily

A Small Yellow Water Lily (Nymphoides thunbergiana) has yellow flowers with feather-edged petals and shiny deep-green rounded leaves, that float on the surface of the water. They inhabit streams, ponds and rivers around the Kwando River and Linyati Marshes as well as some waterways and channels of the Okavango Delta.

Flowers bloom from October to May, although this may vary as does the colour, attracting insects and butterflies. They are frost hardy and require a lot of water and sunshine.
