Introduction: The flat fan of nippled sea fans (Eunicella papillosa) occur as a result of a single stem which forks at regular intervals with height. The branches are cylindrical and covered with nipple-like protuberances which allows the polyps to extend.
Distribution: From the mouth of the Orange River north to Bogenfels and Luderitz
Colouration: Uniform cream or pale orange
Max size: Colony 15cm tall, branches 2mm wide
