Labby bristle worm

Introduction: The soft and floppy body of a flabby bristle-worm (Flabelligera affinis) is covered with slender, bristles protruding from the side of the body. The head is covered with a structure consisting of long-beaded bristles. They live in silty or sandy pools under boulders.

Distribution: From Spencer Bay south to Luderitz and to the Orange River.

Colouration: A pale-green mucous sheath

Max size: 30mm
