They grow on ships' hulls, algae, rocks and other hydroids.

Bushy hydroids

Introduction: Bushy hydroids (Eudendrium spp.) grow on ships' hulls, algae, rocks and other hydroids. A small bush is formed by the colony branches growing indiscriminately.

Distribution: Throughout Namibian waters including Terrace Bay, Torra Bay, Henties Bay, Wlozkasbaken, Jakkalsputz, Swakopmund and Walvis.

Diet: Tiny sea creatures

Colouration: Bright yellowy

Breeding: Produces eggs

Max size: Colony 17mm tall
