Strawberry anemone

Introduction: Strawberry anemones (Corynactis annulata) are more coral than anemone, occurring in clusters under rock ledges in low-shore pools.

Distribution: From the Orange River mouth north along the Sperrgebeit as far as Luderitz

Diet: Small planktonic organisms

Colouration: Distinctive semi-transparent pink tentacles with white knobs on the tips.

Breeding: Either sexual/body division

Max size: 10mm diametre
