Introduction: Victoria Whisps (Agriocnemis victoria) were named after Lake Victoria where specimens where first collected. Adults have been observed flying at the swampy and grassy regions of the Kwando River.
Distribution: Kwando River only.
Colouration: Distinctive black line on the side of the thorax projecting to the mid-leg and black underside of the eyes.
Breeding: Females oviposit oval eggs in open water.
Flight season: August to March.
