Introduction: Twilight Groundlings (Brachythemis leucosticta) tend to be active only at dusk and flying along reeds at dawn. During the day they rest up sitting on twigs in trees or bushes, where there is shade. There abdomens are typically broad and short.
Distribution: Kavango, Kwando and Zambezi Rivers in Namibia
Colouration: Mostly dark yellow (large) head and thorax.
Breeding: Emergence begins in September.
Flight season: September, December, February and March.
Conservation: Not threatened.
