Introduction: Pale Scarlets (Crocothemis divisa) only attempt short flights, using rocks and termite mounds to rest during the day. They are also known as Slender Scarlets.
Distribution: There is only 1 recording of this species in the Groot Paresis Mountains in February 2004, a geographical feature located in between Otjiwarongo and Outjo.
Colouration: Yellow patches on the base of the hindwing, brownish to red thorax.
Breeding: Breeds in small, temporary moving bodies of water.
Flight season: Insufficient data.
Max size: 35mm.
Conservation: Rare in Namibia but not universally threatened.
