Introduction: Although the recordings of the Orange Whisp (Agriocnemis ruberrima albifrons) in Namibia are few and far between, the species is not threatened due to the large population that occurs in the Okavango Delta. The only recording in Namibia of this species was observed among a higher stand of papyrus.
Distribution: Mahango Game Reserve.
Colouration: Mainly red abdomen and black back.
Breeding: Larval development can last from between 30 to 60 days.
Flight season: December.
Conservation: Not threatened due to large populations in the Okavango Delta.
