Introduction: The length of an individual wing of a Little Dust-hawker (Gynacantha manderica) is usually smaller than the length of the abdomen. They have been observed flying at dawn along paths in areas of shady forest or between high trees.

Distribution: Kwando River and other areas of the Caprivi Strip.

Colouration: Brownish body.

Breeding: Females breed in stagnant seasonal swamps and pools in bush or thick forest.

Flight season: December to March.

Max size: Abdomen and hindwing less than 47mm.

Conservation: Not threatened.
