Introduction: Clubbed Cruisers (Phyllomacromia overlaeti) can be found in large rivers. They were named after FG Overlact, a Belgian entomologist.
Distribution: Kavango, Kwando and Zambezi Rivers and Impalila Island.
Colouration: Black pterostigma. Otherwise similar in colouration to the Darting Cruiser.
Breeding: Larvae have been recorded on sandy ground in a reasonably slow-flowing section of river.
Flight season: The rainy season.
Max size: 60mm.
