Introduction: Catshead Sprites (Pseudagrion coeleste) inhabit rivers, especially the well-vegetated, swampy or reedy sections.
Distribution: Kavango and Kwando Rivers.
Colouration: Males have greenish eyes with a sky-blue (coeleste) body with black markings. The upper thorax is green.
Breeding: Larval to adult development occurs without a pupa.
Flight season: August, September, December, February and March.
Conservation: Not threatened.
