Introduction: Twin-spot Blues (Lepidochrysops plebeia) are widespread and common in open woodland and grassland habitats.

Distribution: Northern Namibia.

Breeding/Larval food: Host plant some Lantana spp.

Colouration: Although females are blue above, males have no blue at all. He is brown with a white fringe and a dark-brown bar on the forewing and a black and orange spot on the hindwing.

On the wing: Often found in large numbers in local colonies from September to April.

Wingspan: Male: 31 to 35mm. Female: 35 to 40mm.
