Introduction: Suffused Acraea (Acraea (S) stenobea) can be observed in a dry bushveld habitat. They are slow fliers, usually amongst thorn bushes.
Distribution: Okahandja and widespread in northern Namibia. Also observed in Victoria Falls.
Breeding/Larval food: Feeds on flowers in the summer.
Colouration: Dark brown borders on both fore and hindwings with black spots on a light orange-veined wings.
On the wing: Throughout the summer months.
Wingspan: Approx 50mm.
