Introduction: Lygus Acraea (Acraea (S) lygus) prefer drier bushveld areas of Namibia and is common in its distribution range.
Distribution: Common in central to northern Namibia, Okahandja and Rundu .
Breeding/Larval: Not confirmed.
Colouration: Light orange wings with black spots and dark tips on the forewings and dark bands on the hindwings. Females have a whitish discal band and broad, black hind-marginal band on the hindwing.
On the wing: Throughout the year.
Wingspan: Approx 40 to 50mm.
