Introduction: Common Darts (Andronymus neander) are also called Nomad Darts. They are long-winged migrants but weak fliers. They are attracted to feeding on low flowers, an excellent time for netting.
Distribution: Northern Namibia, Okaukuejo in Etosha National Park.
Breeding/Larval: Single eggs are laid on a food plant shoots.
Colouration: Dark grounding with some lighter forewing patches.
On the wing: Throughout the year.
Wingspan: Approx 30 to 35mm.
