Introduction: The common whitethroat (Sylvia communis) can be found in dry woodland, thickets and fruit-bearing shrubs.
Distribution: Restricted to north and north-central Namibia.
Diet: Eats insects and fruit.
Description: Small to medium-sized warblers with long wings and medium-long tails. Whitish underparts, grey-brown back.
Breeding: Extralimital. Arrives in Namibia from late November to December and departs around March/April.
Size: 14cm.
Weight: 15g.
