Parking is now even safer in the coastal town of Swakopmund. The municipality has announced that 46 car guards have been officially registered.

They wear uniforms so that they can be recognized at first glance. The Namibian First National Bank has supported the initiative by donating the uniforms.

Until now, vehicle guards have worn yellow, red, or orange jackets or waistcoats. From now on, anyone wearing this clothing will not be officially registered. In the centre of Swakopmund only car guards with the new blue uniform are allowed to work.
