Namibia now presents a fresh new face on the internet for travellers and the travel industry. The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) launched its new official English-language website in Windhoek on 10 August 2022.

In his speech, Tourism Minister Pohamba Shifeta described it as an authoritative source of up-to-date information on Namibia. Users will find foreign missions, border posts and entry requirements, national parks and places of interest as well as a directory of travel companies. In addition, there are better opportunities for interaction.

Special section for tourism offers of rural communities

Tourism initiatives of rural communities would also benefit from the website, Pohamba said. This is ensured by a special section for their products, which helps them with their marketing.

The NTB website has not only received a facelift, but has also moved - to the new domain VisitNamibia.com.na. As with the previous platform, there is only an English version. The German-language website of the NTB can still be accessed at Namibia-Tourism.com.
